FAQ's

Minoxidil tablets are oral medications used to promote hair growth in individuals experiencing hair loss or thinning. The active ingredient, minoxidil, is a vasodilator, meaning it widens blood vessels. While the exact mechanism of its action in promoting hair growth is not fully understood, it is believed that minoxidil improves blood flow to hair follicles, thereby stimulating hair growth. It may also prolong the growth phase of hair and increase the size of hair follicles. It is important to note that the use of minoxidil tablets should be under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

The timeline for seeing results with Minoxidil tablets can vary among individuals. Some people may notice changes within a few months, while for others, it may take longer. It's crucial to be patient and consistent with the medication. However, it's essential to understand that the effects of Minoxidil are generally not permanent. If the medication is discontinued, any new hair growth is likely to be lost over time. To maintain the benefits, individuals often need to continue using the medication as prescribed by their healthcare provider.

Minoxidil tablets may cause side effects, and individuals should be aware of potential risks. Common side effects include dizziness, lightheadedness, and increased heart rate. More serious side effects can include chest pain, swelling of hands or feet, and rapid weight gain. It is crucial to seek immediate medical attention if any severe side effects occur. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, individuals with a history of heart problems, and those with certain medical conditions may need to avoid or use Minoxidil tablets with caution. Consulting with a healthcare professional before starting the medication is essential to determine its suitability for an individual's specific health profile.
